We are delighted to have Lo-lo join our stud - her dam is the lovely Gue Maggie May.  She is a bright bay in colour with a great temperament.  Lo-Lo has already been shown at both Youngstock shows in 2015 and 2016 and was in the ribbons both times in strong classes.  We showed her again at the Viking and Cunningsburgh Shows in 2017 when she was second both times to our Hermits Secret Dream.

Fairytale is a pretty rich chestnut coloured mare with mane and tail to match. Purchased at the Aberdeen sale in 2009 because of her bloodlines. Fairytale has an amazingly long mane. Fairytale was fourth placed 3 year old filly at the 2012 Cunningsburgh Show and second placed miniature 3 year old filly at the Viking Show in her first times shown. Fairytale was placed second in the mare with foal at foot class in a strong class in the miniature ring at the 2013 Viking Show. Fairytale had another good year in the showring  in 2015 which finished with her winning Best Miniature Brood Mare at the Unst Show and also Best Chestnut at the Show. Fairytale excelled herself in 2017 coming away from the Unst Show with 6 trophies!  She was Best mare with foal at foot, best chestnut, Best mare 37" and under, Best miniature mare, Best miniature pony, Senior Champion and she finally won Overall Champion.  What a star!  Fairytale was third placed miniature brood mare at the 2019 Breed Show and her daughter Gue Olivia was second in what was a large class.

Gained a Silver Award at the Shetland Pony Evaluation Scheme

Bella was the first foal I decided to keep and breed from so is the matriarch of the stud. Bella has excellent movement. She was the third placed miniature mare at the SPSBS Breed Show in 2009. Bella was first placed Miniature Mare with Foal at Foot at the 2011 Viking Show in a strong class. She went through the 2013 Shetland Pony Evaluation Scheme and gained a silver award. Bella's sire, Mack of Knowe, was Shetland Centenary Show Miniature Champion.  Bella has produced some good foals for us and we have stock which go back to her breeding.  We hope Bella enjoys a well deserved retirement now.

Layla is a smart liver chestnut filly.  With Gue Lucky, Layla was third placed in the progeny class at the 2012 Cunningsburgh Show and they came first in the Miniature Progeny at the 2012 Viking Show. Layla was third placed 3 year old filly in a strong mixed class at the 2013 Cunningsburgh Show, 4th at the Viking Show in the Miniature ring and 2nd with Lucky at the same show in the progeny class.  We have retained both of Layla's fillies Gue Skerry and Gue Una and are very pleased with how she is developing.

Gue Lily is the only filly that Gue Delight produced so is special to us.   Lily has very unusual colouring, in fact, when we asked visitors to the stud over the Breed show period in 2019 no one was sure what colour she was.  Lily had her first foal Gue Unst in 2019 - a lovely colt.

We are delighted to have Nala back at the stud especially since we sold our lovely Gue Jules last year.  She is a very similar colour to our Gue Norah and are both, therefore, similar in colouring to their sire Jack.  Nala is very friendly and is running with one of our stallions this year.

A lovely little filly with a neat head and a lot of bone. Shown at the 2013 Youngstock show where she was second placed 1 year old filly in a mixed class of standards and miniatures (16 entered) and she went on to win the trophy for Best Miniature. Norah is still looking really good and received a first, second and fourth only times shown in 2014. It looks as though Norah has inherited her father's mane.  We have retained her first foal.  Norah produced a smart colt in 2018 - Gue Travis - who did very well in the showring in 2018 and 2019.   Norah herself was placed third at the Viking show.  We are very pleased with Gue Vitality who Norah produced in 2020.

A gorgeous filly with a neat head and lovely eye. Olivia was second placed filly foal at the 2013 Cunningsburgh Show in a large mixed class and was only beaten by Gue Opal. She managed to reverse this in the miniature ring of the 2013 Viking Show by knocking Opal off her perch into second place. Both judges said it was very difficult to chose between them. She rounded off a good year by being second placed filly foal in a mixed class at the 2013 Youngstock show. Olivia had another good year in the showring in 2014 - she attended 3 shows where she got a second place and two first places, a Reserve Junior champion, Junior champion and reserve ring champion. She also won two progeny classes with Gue Paolo.  At the 2017 Viking Show she was second placed mare with foal at foot with her lovely filly foal Gue Sophie May whom we have retained.  Olivia excelled herself in 2019 producing a striking mushroom colt, Gue Uproar, for us.  Uproar was first placed miniature colt at the 2019 Breed Show and Olivia herself was second placed miniature brood mare in a large class. She continues to mature and improve every year.

Opal is a lovely bay and white filly and she was the first foal out of our stallion Kirkstall Achilles. Opal was first placed filly foal at the 2013 Cunningsburgh Show closely followed by Gue Olivia. The roles were reversed at the Viking Show a few days later when she was beaten into second place by Gue Olivia. The judges said it was difficult to chose between them. She rounded off a good year by being third placed filly foal in a strong mixed class at the 2013 Youngstock Show. Opal was shown again in 2015 and won her class at the Viking Show.  She is a striking looking filly.

Paloma is a lovely chestnut filly who definitely has the look of her Sire. She has a lovely nature and we are very pleased with her and although you shouldn't have favourites she is up there!  Paloma was not able to be shown in 2017 as she had rubbed out some of her tail but we got her into the showring in 2018 where she was placed third at the Cunningsburgh show with her lovely filly foal Gue Tarah.  Tarah has done very well for the Abbeygreen Stud on Mainland Scotland.  Paloma did very well with Reece Macleod in the Young Handler Class at the 2019 Breed Show - Reece won his age group and went on to win Overall Young Handler.  Reece had never handled Paloma until the day of the show so all credit to him.

Gue Rebecca is a truly gorgeous filly with an excellent temperament.  We are very glad to have her as we have sold her sire Chico.  Chico gained a silver award at the Shetland Pony Evaluation Scheme.  Rebecca was third placed miniature filly foal at the 2016 Cunningsburgh Show and second placed miniature filly foal at the 2016 Viking Show.  Rebecca continues to mature well and as a result she had a first place at the Cunningsburgh show and ended up with Miniature Junior Champion there.  She was third placed at the Viking show and third at the Youngstock Show in a mixed class and was top miniature in the 2/3 year old filly class at that show.  Rebecca will be put to one of our stallions in 2020.

Gue Robyn who is a very smart chestnut filly is our last foal from our stallion Gue Icon.  She is a light chestnut colour - I never cease to be amazed at the different colours of chestnut - with an almost grey mane.  Robyn was shown for the first time in 2017 and was 4th placed 1 year old filly. She then won her class at the Viking show and was Reserve miniature Junior Champion there.  Finally, she won a first place at the 2017 Youngstock Show and the cup for Best overall Miniature pony (not a bad achievement for a 1 year old).  Robyn did well again in 2018 with a second place at both the Serrang Show and the Viking Show. Robyn and Rebecca compete against each other and it is interesting to see which one comes out on top at the different shows under different judges.  Robyn was fourth placed miniature 3 year old filly at the 2019 Breed Show.

Secret Dream is a lovely bay skewbald filly who has a beautiful head and markings.  She had her first show outing to the Cunningsburgh Show and she got placed third in the one year old miniature filly class and fourth in the same class at the Viking Show and we felt she would do even better when she was more mature.  And she has indeed - first show of 2017 she was Best Miniature and Reserve Junior Champion followed by first places in her age group at both the Viking and Cunningsburgh shows! Secret Dream continued well in 2018 with a win in her class at the Viking Show and Miniature Junior Champion there.  She is a "Dream" of a pony who loves people and she has visited the local Care Centre on several occasions.

Arabella is a striking skewbald with a fabulous mane and tail.  She has already done very well for us in the showring in Shetland - having previously achieved good results for the Milday stud on the Mainland.  She has a lovely nature too which was evident when we took her into the local care centre for a Christmas treat for the residents.  Arabella was second placed 3 year old miniature filly at the 2019 Breed Show in Shetland. We plan to run her with one of our stallions this Spring.

Sea Glass is a well developed liver chestnut mare and is a good example of the type of mare we like.   She is settling in well here after a tough winter and will be put to one of our stallions this year.

Cordelia is nicely marked with unusual colouring and has a neat head and a lovely eye.  We waited for Cordelia to mature before showing her and she  lived up to expectations gaining a second place in the Yeld Mare class at the Cunningsburgh Show and was also second placed Yeld mare at the Viking Show.  A special mare.
